Ballet is the foundation of many dance forms and is essential for building the necessary technique required to maximize the dancers’ ability in all other areas of dance. Ballet class helps dancers with posture, poise, alignment, flexibility, strength, balance and discipline, while also giving students an understanding of the classic elements of Russian-based ballet.



Jazz dance emphasizes musicality, body alignment, rhythm and stylization to upbeat music with dynamic movement and choreography.



In tap class, students will explore various aspects of rhythm and tempo, while learning a variety of tap dance styles and techniques.

Contemporary dance builds on the foundation of ballet and modern dance, while also utilizing elements of lyrical dance.  Many of the steps of elevation from Ballet are used, as well as the fall/recover and contract/release elements of Modern dance.


Hip Hop:

In Hip Hop class students will learn the foundational elements of Hip Hop dance including various styles of Popping, Locking, and Bboying (Breakdance), as well as a wide variety of street and funk styles associated with Hip Hop dance.


Adult Mash-up:

Adult Mash-up classes consist of a variety of dance styles into one class.ᅠ Mash-up classes are meant to be free flowing and constantly changing.ᅠ This class is great for those who enjoy something different every week.ᅠ Mash-up classes are also a fun way to stay in shape!



Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.


Boot Camp:

A variety of exercises to help buildᅠ strength, endurance and agility to conquer your daily routine. Are you up to the challenge?


A different approach to dance education.

Skill-based learning, which focuses on the individual and their goals, rather than simply a recital. TGD offers Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, & Tap for both Boys, Girls, Men, & Women of all ages!
